Giga & Pastorale - This month’s column can be very brief. The composer is unknown. Both sections come from a collection by the Italian organist G. Troncavelli and form part of the “Italian organ music from the 18th century” category. I prefer a flute choir where the registration is concerned. Both in the piano, mezzo forte, as well as the forte sections. Simply a wonderful piece of music for a beautiful spring day.
