The beautiful Hook & Hastings pipe organ at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, in Everett Massachusetts, was built in 1908 and is located in a gallery. It was in need of repairs as well as a new console and wiring. After much consultation with Pastor Gerald Osterman and Organist Christopher Maynard, the design for a new Monarke console took shape. Built to reflect the original, the new Monarke is now located in the front of the church in a new choir area.
In order to provide music for Cantor and smaller services the Hook voices are replicated with samples from English organs. The result is two separate mutually exclusive organs.
