Austrian Hymn (Finale)
This month, we complete and conclude the variation series on the “Austrian Hymn.” If you place the arrangements from July 2024, February 2025, and this one in sequence, you’ll have a truly grand composition.
Our colleague Ronald IJmker – from whom we’ve featured a piece before – composed this finale. It may certainly be played in a grand and somewhat bold manner.
Bars 1 to 28: forte, but not too dark, and certainly not fortissimo yet.
Bars 29 to 64: feel free to add a few more stops.
Bars 65 to 83: if you’re going to double parts, definitely include a 16’.
Bars 84 to the end: one final additional stop to fill it out.
